Will you join our fight to make our city livable through our schools?
Christopher is a recipient of the Medal of Good Citizenship, our province's 2nd-highest honour, as one of the youngest-ever medalists.
Christopher has been fighting for students and for those across our city for years. Serving as the leader of Helping Hearts, he leads thousands of students to make life better for all Vancouverites. Organizing 35 school clubs across British Columbia, and five in the VSB, he understands that the school board needs to invest in students– not backroom boardrooms.
Schools are the lifeline for livability in Vancouver: they're a childcare space, community space, and place of learning all in one. Today, he's running to win the OneCity nomination for School Board and win a livable city through our schools, for everybody.
Joining OneCity is the best way to support Christopher and his pro-livability, pro-youth platform. OneCity is the party of young people, families, and everyone who wants to make a more affordable city. By joining OneCity, you can vote for Christopher in the May nomination election.
If you live or work in Vancouver and are 14 years old or older, you can sign up now for a one-time fee of $10.
You fund our entire grassroots campaign! In October, we'll be facing a multi-million dollar beast. So, every cent donated helps us continue to fight for students, parents, and staff across our district.
Christopher needs your help to build a more livable School Board. There are so many ways to get involved and volunteer with our team– whether it be phonebanking, doorknocking, or hosting a dinner to tell your friends about our message.
Christopher will put students first. He will support hiring more counsellors and support staff, restoring and expanding the specialized programs the VSB has cut, strengthening school food programs, and ensuring students with the greatest needs receive the resources they deserve. Public education funding belongs in classrooms, not the bureaucracy.
Christopher will stand unapologetically with the workers who keep our schools running. From education assistants to custodial staff, every worker serving Vancouver’s students deserves a living wage and the dignity of being able to afford to live in the city they support. No one working full-time in our district should struggle to get by.
Christopher believes childcare is essential public infrastructure. He will champion low-cost, accessible childcare by unlocking school land and partnering with communities to expand spaces where families need them most. Every family deserves affordable care, and every child deserves a strong start.
